It’s almost a week ago and I am still angry. In all the apparent haste to get rid of Hutch, at the time of writing we are travelling north up the M5 for a relegation 6 pointer, without a manager! Priceless! I am sure Mr Rolls said somewhere in the press that he had learnt from the mistakes he made at Cambridge United, and yet here we are in the middle of yet another managerial fiasco.
Was Jimmy Quinn ever really in the frame? Seems a bit strange dumping him with a very flimsy excuse. There is once again more to it than we will ever know.
Big game tomorrow, at one of my favourite grounds, St George’s Lane. Although one way or another we are probably unlikely to visit there again after tomorrows match. A real shame, old fashioned ground, near the city centre. Madness to move in my opinion. Can’t see a new stadium right out by the motorway will make any money during the week, from bar takings etc.
I hope to write another Blog tomorrow, if I get round to it.
